Try A Tool A Week!

I read an article that was written to promote new educational technology websites to use in the classroom. They challenged the viewers to try a different online tool each week to get more ideas for the classroom. By signing up (for free) each week you will get an email of a different online tool to view, use, and see if it would be good in the classroom. When you get the email there will be information about the tool and how to get started for your classroom. When looking and using the tool they would like you to email them to tell them what you thought about the tool and share what you have created on the website. They are also offering freebies to people that sign up and use these tools such as Flipped Classroom Workshop-in-a-Book ebook,  a free enrollment in their summer 4 week online Flipped class workshop, and many other licenses and freebies. They really want teachers to look at these new tools for fun and creative ways to use them in the classroom. They are really helping teaches by challenging us to learn about a new tool a week for three months so that we can help better our classroom!
There are many ways that we can use this in the classroom. It would be nice for teachers, especially new teachers to sign up to learn about these new tools. This way they get a vast array of websites that are educational that they can use in the classroom to help them teach. Also if there is a website that is really great and easy to use you can have your students do a homework assignment or projects using these sights. You are given approximately 12 websites that you can use for free and however long you want.  I think that by signing up to look at new tools online is great for the classroom because you can teach using these websites from the classroom or get your students involved and have them use these sites!
